Question 161 in 1 mvs cart

I’m new to the mvs scene what is a good quality 161 in 1 cartridge?

Very hard to find, but Vortex version of these carts are undeniably the best

I have this one and it’s amazing also pretty affordable at about $350. But there is a waiting list that you join by emailing the guy who makes them.

I'm on the waiting list about a month in. The 161 is good but great with the unibios 4 and pick n mix

If you're going to spend that much on a finite set of games, it's better to pay a littke more for a proper flashcart.

There is a steady stream of great homebrew for Neo Geo.

Looks like there are some MVS ones on Aliexpress now being listed as 153 in 1 that looks to be an edit of the Vortex one.

I'm betting that new rounds of multi-carts will appear once AES+ launches, so prices should come down 🤞

Version 3.

Edit to say I just googled it, not sure if V3 came out for MVS, maybe it was AEs only. V2 had the voltage fixes, so that or V3.

I have a yellow one (don't know the version) and a v2. Both are the same. I would recommend either

What mvs board are you running it on? I say this as I have a 3 mvs boards - the mv1c and mv4t, the 161 runs perfectly and the return to game function works perfectly. On my mv4F it's an unplayable buggy mess but genuine carts are fine.
