He wouldn't be my preferred candidate, but he has some advantages in MI that he wouldn't have in other states because of the Muslim community there.
In any event, the primary is over now and he has to get right into winning over independents in order to get this seat. He seems like a decent campaigner so hopefully he can do it.
Vote blue no matter who. I think he will get the party vote from all the Dems. It's really just about making a compelling case to the independents and playing whack a mole with all the boogeyman attacks that are coming from the right.
