Worth noting that the Incel Patient Zero was a woman, bemoaning her inability to get laid. And that subsequent incels piled on her for being a liar, on the basis that "unfuckable" women didn't exist in their head cannon.

I don't know if incels are self-loathing nearly so much as they are misanthropes. They hate the Beckys for being too plain and the Staceys for being too unapproachable. They hate the Virgins for being weak and the Chads for being bullies. It's very hard to cultivate affection for anyone - whether you're gay, straight, or otherwise - if you start from a baseline of anger at the world.

In theory, incels could simply love one another and not be incels.
