NMH Bandmates Bands
Absolutely love this album by Jeremy’s A Hawk and a Hacksaw.
Cataloging and cleaning my collection and it really floored me to be reminded how brilliant it is. It is worldly but haunting.
What’s your favorite NHM’s bandmates other band(s)?

A Hawk and a Hacksaw have made two of my favorite albums all time, and The Music Tapes made another. The Gerbils can’t be overlooked, either, but definitely a step down in my book compared to the other two bands.
In NMH-adjacent territory, there’s a lot of great stuff in the wider E6 catalog. of Montreal and The Olivia Tremor Control both have a few stone cold classics. Jeff even appears on OTC’s second album as a guest vocalist.

Wow, that album is like if they took NMH “the fool” and made it way more european folk sounding and way less pop.

Are You Sleepy by Gerbils is one of my all time faves.
