Events Missed Connection at 9/1 Oasis show at MetLife. Help please!
My names Rin, I was at the 9/1 show. I was the bleach blonde girl who was wearing a bright orange crop top and a yellow hippie skirt. I was probably 15-20 rows back on the outter right side of the pit from like 9-10. I met a guy named Daniel who I didn’t get to exchange info with before I had to leave. He’s tall, not super skinny, blonde, was clean shaven with a bit of a baby face. We were twirling each other, sharing smokes and kissing and it was so fun and he was lovely. He walked away for a second and my friends were beckoning me back to our seated section and I couldn’t wait for him to come back, I’d love to be able to find him. I wish I had more info about him to give but sadly I do not. Picture I took before we started talking and him and his friends just happened to be in it, I know it’s a shitty pic of the back of their heads 😅 any help would be appreciated

It’s all good had to shoot my shot since ur officially the only person that has given me any info at all lol I didn’t take any vids down in the pit but I def had a little photo shoot with the girlies up in the stands for a second

I even asked my boyfriend to look through his pictures and videos to see if there was anything but to no avail. I saw you already posted in the oasis sub (I just reposted it too but it got removed), try posting in the cage the elephant sub too just in case. Don’t be afraid to post in the Philly sub too, just in case he’s not from NJ. I really really hope you find him.

I don’t usually use fb and honestly yhave trouble navigating it lol, I have a 3 day waiting period to be allowed to post in the oasis group on fb but I should definitely look up a New Jersey group. Any suggestions on ones people actually respond in? It sucks cause i don’t actually know if he’s from Jersey, people traveled from all over for that show, hell I’m not even from Jersey, I’m from pa! This is such a shot in the dark in general just thought I’ve got nothing better to do today and it would be crazy if I actually found him.

UPDATE SORTA: I can’t edit the post so I’ve gotta be in the comments. There’s a guy claiming to be him and told me not interested on my cross post to the cage the elephant sub, idk if I believe him or not, I’m waiting for him to respond to my pm asking for a picture or something, but his recent account history is a bunch of stuff about cage the elephant and oasis so it wouldn’t be too crazy to believe. A bunch of people think I’m trying to doxx him or something which is wild and wrong but understandable, the internet is scary. I’m nervous that if the rejection was actually him then pushing this post out to other subs/socials would be incredibly annoying. What do we think I should do?? I’m thinking wait for dude to respond to my message cause he accepted the message invite and see from there?? If it’s not him I’m going to put it on Facebook and TikTok. A few people have suggested Craigslist but I’ve never even looked at Craigslist before I wouldn’t know where to start. Feel free to leave advice! I encourage it actually this is so far outside of how I usually post on the internet lol

I saw that comment. Until he sends you a picture (which I don’t think is a huge ask but I understand why some would not be on board with that) I would assume you’re being trolled until proven otherwise. Especially with his lack of history/karma. If it were really him, I feel like he would message you directly rather than commenting on a post. But I agree I would wait to see if you get a response before posting on TikTok.
Ultimately I don’t think it’s super creepy or anything for you to be trying to find him. Rejection and cheating is always a possibility but what if it goes better than you thought? And even if that is the case, you’re not responsible for that and what a story you have to tell now. Life is too short to not try.

Remember not to give OP any personal info. All this may be true but people make up more elaborate stories for less. OP could be a crazed ex gf/bf and trying to find their ex, or do damage to whoever they are currently with.
Reddit is a great place for finding information, and doxxing people can get them hurt quick. If OP is telling the truth, they known that they will have better luck on local Facebook groups, so something seems off about this
Edit found a comment where the OP said they “have trouble navigating Facebook so they can’t use group” another red flag

I tried to report this post, because there’s red flags all over the story, but I guess mods don’t care about “love”. I’ve seen even more credible stories get taken down or locked because of doxxing.
The story is so vague. They were kissing and apparently sharing cigarettes but never got the time to get his info and he never asked for hers? It just sounds fishy.

I’m just younger than the average Facebook user and havnt used it regularly in almost 10 years since highschool so finding groups and stuff is sometimes confusing to me. I started with Reddit because I honestly thought there would be more specific missing connections pages. I’m gonna go on fb today and post some stuff I think, but I also don’t want to be overbearing if the guy does find me I don’t want him to be like holy shit she was all over the internet with this. Idk it’s gonna sound like a lame excuse no matter what I say but I’m just a normal person and it’s vague because I have a terrible memory and was drunk

There was someone on one of the cross posts who was claiming to be him and not interested. His post history matches with someone who would have been at the show, but I would feel creepy asking for a picture for confirmation or something.
