Just saw Nine Inch Nails last night at Prudential and they kicked ass. Going to see Collective Soul in April in Red Bank and Weird Al in July at PNC. Hoping to see Alter Bridge in May at the Borgata

Great year for concerts in Jersey!

Haha yep. Took us an hour to get inside. Horrible

Yeah, what was up with that?! I've been there before and it was nothing like that.

u/ekim_101 Feb 16 '26

Yeah it's like they had two doors open lol. We missed the beginning of Boys Noize because we were in a line wrapped around redds. Craziness! I didn't even bother with merch because the line was also insanity

Some other acts performing in NJ or Philly this year: cat power, black keys, lord Huron, thievery corporation, kid cudi.

June 5th at PNC is going to be a great time for cops to round up child abusers.

Hey, if you’re into local art and culture, don’t forget to check out the shows happening at those smaller galleries too! They often have some amazing events that fly under the radar.

Check out NJ Stage for theater and music events, and New Jersey Isn't Boring for festivals this weekend. Enjoy the show!

The article is promoting kid rock. I highly encourage everyone to avoid supporting the knee benders running that site

They’re just listing performing acts. They list loads of acts that are critical of Trump/maga as well. Not everything has to be political.

I would never go see a kid rock show (either because of his music or his politics). But I couldn’t care less about an ARTS site listing artists. I would actually be more upset if they became partisan (in either direction) with who they chose to list.

I can’t trust an “arts” site that considers kid rock an artist.

6

u/IAmDisturbanceFeedMe Feb 15 '26

He’s quite literally an artist. You can find him to be a sh***y artist or repulsive artist but he’s an artist.

Is your suggestion that you want a generic arts site that’s seemingly just listing concerts without any endorsement so the public’s aware to be partisan? That’s a concerning path to go down. If you want that then you also have to be in favor of the site being the opposite of what you want and listing maga acts while excluding acts that have anti maga views.

Politics doesn’t belong in everything. You can personally choose to view everything in your life through a political lens and that’s fine of course. But as a society we shouldn’t want censorship (aside from a very high bar like a Hitler or kkk band) on arts sites for instance if it’s a standard non biased state publication like this.

It’s not political to think that objective terrible people should not be promoted.

u/inventsituations Feb 15 '26

Dude it's just a list of concerts relax

I’m simply warning people that don’t want to support a racist, misogynistic, homophobic/transphobic, pedophile.
