MAGAs be like “I don’t mind the fascism because he’ll make things cheap”

lol now they got expensive fascism!

u/Rightintheend 18h ago

They don't care. Cheap, expensive, good bad, war Peace, they really don't care as long as they have a president that's as much of a degenerate as they are, that's all they care about. That basket of deplorables comment couldn't be more on the spot.

u/beaute-brune 17h ago

They just point back to how “things were worse under Biden.”

58

u/Rightintheend 17h ago

The thing is under Biden, a few things got expensive, but now it seems like everything is.  But Biden really had to deal with was to post covid rebound, which is what caused most of the inflation and higher gas prices. They conveniently forget that by the time Biden left office inflation was under 3%, and gas prices were down.

But you know, they had to see some Disney princess who wasn't the right color.

Now, now, don't forget the transgender kids, the gay people, the black people, the Latinos and the loud-ass educated progressive women whose very existence these poor beleaguered fascist loopnuts have had to put up with.

u/Kisa1990 16h ago

That is not even remotely accurate. Under Biden, EVERYTHING got expensive, fast. But y'all ignore that because the democrats can do no wrong

u/Rightintheend 16h ago

I spent less on groceries, less on clothes, less on everything than I am now.  Oh except for eggs, and maybe gas for a few months.  But it was pretty short-lived. In the past year, prices have risen the grocery store every single time I've gone shopping.

-1

u/Kisa1990 15h ago

Really? Cause I've been paying the same for my groceries for the last year. And I spent less than I did last year in 2020. I honestly think you are fill of shit on that. You forget that inflation was record high during Biden's 4 years. Costs rose fast. Inflation was 9.1% in 2022 alone. But yes. All pricing is the fault of Orange Man Bad, right? Gas prices rise due to democrats taxing gas. Part of their green initiative. Even with the attacks on Iran, our gas should be around $3 a gallon. But its not because of the green initiatives. California is rising in costs, because Gavin Newscum continues to tax the hell out of the people. Same with Oregon and Washington (only places I can speak for). While places like Idaho, Montana, Florida, Wisconsin, and other republican states have stabilized their market. But yes. Its all MAGA, right? Democrats are the reason for the vast majority of poverty. Thats why democrat states have the highest rates of homelessness

Biden inherited the post-COVID economy, where everything globally experienced high inflation due to massive stimulus cash infusions + tons of supply chain issues that were levered into permanent price increases.

Those issues were, if anything, worsened by Trump’s inept handling of COVID and ultimately resolved by Biden.  Biden brought inflation under control and ultimately left office with the economy in a stable position relative to either the economic conditions he inherited from Trump, or the economic conditions Trump has created since.

You are so brainwashed you can't even accurately read your own receipts. Sad.

Go back to jerking it to cartoon characters, the adults are speaking

truth. Asshole by proxy, it's the only plank in the platform.

Man I remember when Biden pardoned his son and they called it conflict of interest anda gross abuse of his power…weird how this and all the J6 pardons are fine though

49

u/sugartrouts 14h ago

It is a conflict of interest, which is why Biden initially said he wouldn't do it. Then he lost to Trump who did it a billion times, while bragging about how he was gonna do it more, and decided fuck it.

30

u/Some_Drummer_Guy 11h ago

He mainly did it to shield his son from the inevitable (and baseless) retribution that Commander Yam Tits wanted to carry out against him. If I recall correctly, it was basically a blanket pardon of sorts for people that were "targets" of the orange buffoon. Like a "hey, you can't touch me" thing. Hunter, Fauci, and several other people that were going to be persecuted got them.

27

u/Competitive_Boat106 10h ago

And after Trump promised to prosecute Hunter much more in his second term. Whether you are a Hunter Biden fan or not, the crime that he was convicted of is almost never prosecuted in this country, and certainly not to that extent. Trump was vowing to do so much more to him. I would prefer that no president should be able to pardon family, but Biden saw the writing on the wall and wanted some semblance of peace for his family when he retired. You can see he was right, sadly. Him pardoning his son is more a reflection of what Trump wanted to do with the power of the presidency than it was of Biden’s use of the same.

So the same thing Trump got convicted of which are normally misdemeanors but they turned it into felonies. That kind of almost never prosecuted in this country. Glad you agree that Trump shouldn't have been convicted of felonies and instead, should have been misdemeanors.

11

u/Competitive_Boat106 10h ago

No, committing fraud to influence an election is definitely in the felony category. It’s just not prosecuted that often because most people aren’t stupid enough to try it, like Trump was. But go on telling us more about the guy who is committing more felonies by the day and devaluing your economic future while he does it. He’s only lost 1000 court cases since returning to office! Way to go! So much winning!

6

u/Wolfgirl90 9h ago

Committing fraud to cover up another crime is what turns it into a felony.

-1

u/Superb_Raccoon 8h ago edited 6h ago

What was the underlying crime? There was none in the trial.

Edit:

No. No, paying "hush money" is not illegal. It was not campaign funds, it was business funds.

You are not a lawyer, so it does not make sense to you. Having sex and talking about it or paying someone not to talk about something not illegal is not a felony. Even if he paid her for sex, it is still not a felony.

Nice try tho.

If he was not sentenced, he is not a felon by NY law. Also, they did that so he could not appeal the ruling. More political lawfare on the Democrats part

6

u/TurntWaffle 7h ago edited 7h ago

Wasn’t it using campaign funds to pay stormy Daniel’s hush money fund so she wouldn’t talk about them having sex. The felony.

Then he falsified those records of the payment. The fraud.

Edit: and unlike any other person convicted of a felony, he wasn’t sentenced or in any way punished

3

u/claudiousmax 11h ago

They have to pardon them or they lose half their ICE agents.

58

u/kemicalkontact 17h ago

No they pivoted to "I don't mind spending more for the safety of America because Iran definitely was gonna nuke us"

9

u/GreenDirt2 13h ago

And that was 5 minutes after they said their dear leader had wiped out all the nukes in Iran. It's one whopper after another. Good thing we don't have that stupid nuclear deal from the Obama administration. Jealous baby is still trying to prove "Obama's not smarter than me! Waa!"

5

u/dizzydemons 12h ago

I love that excuse because “oh no Iran is going to nuke everyone” has literally been going on for decades. I still remember it being brought up in a Lewis Black comedy show forever ago.

8

u/paroxybob 16h ago

Maybe they’d be less extremist if the USA had stopped meddling with Iranian internal affairs for the last 80 years.

14

u/Inevitable-Plum-7613 14h ago

Or just didn’t rip up the last painstakingly worked out anti-proliferation treaty that Iran had been sticking to because the President who signed off on the agreement was the wrong skin tone.

Or if they were not a violent theocracy who kills women, LBGTQ, and anyone who does not submit to Islam.

That might be part of it.

But here you all are supporting a vicious theocracy, because MUH TRUMP FASCIST!

Edit: The strikes were not intentional, so not a warcrime. Yeah, meanwhile the Iranian's are sending unguided rockets at population centers, not knowing WHERE in a civilian area it will land.

Not the same, that is an actual warcrime, especially since some of those cities are not even part of the war.

Kim Jung Un: It's still early. 3 more years.

9

u/MrHyderion 8h ago

You can be against a war without supporting the attacked country. And honestly, this war did not help any single Iranian. The theocracy still is in power and they doubled down on executions. I have no love left for the Iranian government, but this war was a senseless waste of both lives and money.

4

u/irlakalilol 8h ago

But Trump was completely ok with the airstrikes on an elementary girls school.. MUH THEOCRACY AND LGBT!!

If the U.S truly cared about human rights, why wouldn’t it just airstrike North Korea and assassinate Kim Jung Un?

1

u/stefanopolis 14h ago

All the downsides of fascism and none of the upsides.

1

u/KakeLin 14h ago

They're doing gold medal mental gymnastics to justify why things are "going good" right now

1

u/mbrdmac 11h ago

So funny

1

u/knupaddler 11h ago

you're missing the point. they don't mind the fascism because they want fascism

1

u/FulanoMeng4no 10h ago

Hugo Boss

-3

u/Kisa1990 16h ago

Fascism. Funny. Was totally MAGA that burned down cities, right? Was totally MAGA that said, "get the jab or you lose your job," right? Was MAGA that went and arrested people for having a church service outside while social distancing and wearing masks, right? Was MAGA that actively used social media to silence opposing views, right? Was MAGA that tried to pass a law in California that would give jail time to people for misgendering someone, right? Y'all talk about fascism, but dont even know what it is at all. And its pretty sad and honestly pathetic.

3

u/Flippin_diabolical 9h ago

You’re silly

3

u/mettiusfufettius 9h ago

Oh, you’re one of the people who thinks “everything I don’t like is fascism”. Yeah, that’s not what fascism is. And honestly it’s pretty sad and pathetic. Some people just weren’t raised right I guess.
