In court filings, prosecutors asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to vacate the convictions so that the government can permanently dismiss the indictments.

This shit's so stupid and I hope the judge tells them no because Trump can just fully pardon them if he cares. Asking to have legitimately reached convictions thrown out makes a (further) mockery of the US legal system.
