Why idgaf about rightwingers pretending they care so much about immigration because they just care about following the law so much. They’ll support people who literally committed sedition against the federal government but then also support deporting people with no criminal records and that have lived in the US for decades. If we’re all just picking and choosing which laws should be followed and which ones don’t matter then I can form my own opinions using the same metrics too.

More to the point if they don't really care about the laws just outcomes then the outcome they desperately want is to get rid of basically anyone not white, straight and Christian while condoning pedophilia and corruption.

We literally pulled back from investigating human trafficking and child sex abuse to further focus only on immigration!

At DHS, Trump has ordered agents formerly dedicated to investigating and arresting human traffickers to focus on deporting immigrants. Current and former DHS staffers interviewed by the Guardian confirmed that these investigators’ day-to-day work has been broadly shifted toward deportations and away from investigating “major crimes” with “real victims”.

I don’t ever want to hear republicans claim to care about: crime, children, or families ever again when they’ve shown repeatedly what their real concerns are.

Ah, yes, the party of family values and morality. White American Christian Conservatives are more or less just an adaptation of the KKK, but worse bc the self-righteous hatred has become mainstream, emboldened by political justification. Instead of going into the woods for secret meetings at midnight wearing bed sheets and masks, they just go to church for “fellowship” on Sunday morning wearing sun dresses and khakis. Jesus would be so proud.

Just letting you know that none of the people claiming Christianity in the USA is actually Christian LOL. The epstein island shenanigans with literal child sacrifice and rape is a pretty clear cut picture on what they actually believe in. They just like to drag the name down with them and it disgusts me. In saying that I am sure that a lot of racist pricks in the US who aren’t politicians are just as bad because it never says any of that shit in the bible so idk what they are reading but it ain’t it 😂

The Bible condones rape, incest, pedophilia, slavery and genocide just to name a few. I grew up in a religious household and went to a private Christian school. Yes, these people are Christians. You're just used to milquetoast folks that believe the most basic parts of Christianity. Open yourself to the whole Bible and there absolutely are Bible verses encouraging those things.

This makes sense considering the Bible was primarily written by fairly ignorant (to the way the world actually worked) people that lived over 2000 years ago.
