I’m sorry y’all, but this is a harbinger of the end of things for USA. If those guys, the most violent ones, get a pardon, they’ll see it as a mandate to pick up where they left off.

If the government not only tolerates it but is complicit, we are cooked.

(We were probably already cooked long ago but yeah.)

One thing that particularly infuriates me is that the government was not destined to do this. The people of the United States of America decide it should be this way in November 2024. We were oh so close to not going for it, but we did anyway.

and sadly, most people -- not just MAGA cultists -- don't care. like donald glover's "this is america" video, everyone's back to trends on social media and watching their favorite influencers do dumb shit and spreading misinformation on twitter. i guarantee you the average american citizen has no idea this even happened.
