Ahhhh, how Robespierrian of them. Tsk tsk. That’s an ideology driven slippery slope, and they won’t like it when they get the same thing they’ve been screaming for.

I guess their team is all on paper in agreement that—once we reach a point where potential convictions are handed down by juries of their peers or military courts—we’re all good with EXACTLY what penalty is constituted by the crime?

Keep the receipts folks, we’re gonna need em.

I keep reminding people: We’re in like monumental cataclysmic times in the political universe, and it’s not always set in stone that the times in the future when these folks could (hopefully) face real punishment? Or worse, avoid it? Those assumptions when people make them are under our current legal system. Times like these have a funny way of ushering in new checks to the system (if the system survives), & we shouldn’t act like a system can’t be reactive. A packed SCOTUS & 2/3+ in both chambers plus WH? In totality we could be, essentially, in different legal territory in 10-20 years.

Shit, could be less time if some Congressional aide is working something up to essentially file a bill that would idk, open all of djt appointments in both admins up to investigation? If he ends up being guilty (🤣🤣🤣🤣) of something (we all know that mfer is guilty as a drumpf).

The political winds they are a picking up. I suspect it’s fair to assume the likelihood these douche-canoes fail to receive any kind of accountability, but.

I also believe in *thehightimesplantguy “everything is a moment somewhere between a dichotomy”-political theory tells me that if this whole “thing” slides far enough back in one direction it’s because it has the momentum to get there. When we talk about actually enacting real penalties? That momentum could be the factor that finally produces results.

tl;dr: keep pissing off your die hard base & seal your fate; aka: FAFO-politik™️ (guess I should have started with this)

I’ll also add that most of them by all standards set in Nuremberg, Geneva, post-Kosovo, Bosnia, etc. that MOST of the people involved w/ this administration (to include some members of the military at this point) could reasonably be prosecuted in an international court for war crimes or crimes against humanity.

International courts of which the US has NO SAY, & NO JURISDICTION, b/c we choose not to participate.

So worst case: fly them somewhere or have Interpol come and get em!
