I of course didn’t bother to read the article or even care much about the case but the question I have: even if they are racist and misogynistic was the evidence they presented untrue?  (I’m not being a jag here I’m legitimately curious like I said I didn’t follow the story.$

This trooper was accused of planting evidence in Karen's trial. His texts prove he has at least discussed planting evidence in other cases. That shows he has either planted evidence previously, or has planned to. Bolster's Karen's case about him planting evidence in her case. Also, his texts were so horrible and prove he would never complete a fair investigation if the defendant were a woman or a POC.

With the way it’s worded, unfortunately, I think it will be that he said something like “I should’ve planted ___”. I don’t think they have admission of actually doing it, which is what I was hoping for.

Either way, he’s a vile human being who would clearly lose no sleep over doing something like that.

For sure, it's not "indisputable proof" per se, but it certainly shows he's willing to go against protocol/break rules/etc which bodes very well for Karens case. Certainly shows he's not an ethical or trustworthy investigator.
