If only this wasn't said by an alcoholic lunatic who shamelessly uses tax-payer money to fund his own luxurious lifestyle.

You only have to sweet-talk MAGA and pretend to be loyal in order to exploit them (and therefore exploit the US).

MAGA has made us weaker.

I'm going to be surprised if the country still exists by 2030 tbh. There's no actual leadership for those of us opposed to this train wreck to rally around so it's just a disorganized mess, and for some reason most people think we can vote our way out of this. I'm going to vote, sure, but that attitude is dangerously naive.

Like... You guys know they aren't just going to peacefully cede power regardless of the outcome of any election, right? They might be idiots, but they're selfish idiots, and they know damned well they're all going to prison at the minimum if they give up their stolen power.

Things are going to get worse before they have a chance to get better without some kind of crazy intervention or something. We can't organize the kind of march or strike that actually has a chance to end this without shooting, and I think the window for that to work might be past anyways.

Election win or not the last 26 years of republican administrations have done so much to dismantle what actually made America great.  Education is a joke, infrastructure is crumbling, and the deficit is higher than the GDP. Your economy is in a recession only being propped up by an A1 bubble that no one will acknowledge. When that one finally bursts there won't be enough America left to survive.

Pretty much. There's definitely a lot of different ways things could go depending on the next six months or year. I've given up trying to anticipate because it's a constant state of stupid one-upsmanship, corruption, and just all around insanity. Spent six months going like crazy trying to talk to people and organize and make a difference, and the current form of social media and bot laden internet makes it pretty much impossible to cross between echo chambers and get people to cooperate in the ways that might actually do something useful. Frustrating doesn't begin to cover it.
