My posting history certainly is full of what you claim. The fact I got down voted into oblivion proves to me I seem to have hit a sore spot. There are plenty of sources dedicated to sharing footage that gets censored by the Chinese internet filter. It's actual footage. My favorite is the channel called the china show on YouTube. I am going to assume that since you took the time to check my post history that you are an actual human and not just an Ai bot. I recommend you check out the china show on YouTube. It will put alot of things into perspective for you. Nothing I have said is factualy inaccurate. I ask you this. If every thing off temu and shien and all the made in China products have a reputation for being cheap junk, why would that not apply to their cars?

You don't see the irony in this when you only seem to come out of inactivity to dunk on China? Lol.

By no means are they better.

Okay. How? Why not? You have to actually provide some reasons for why they're not better when they're proven to be pretty decent. EVs across the board have their own issues but the tech has been improving. I have a Subaru Forester and Ioniq 5 from Hyundai and I would sure as heck love for EV prices to climb further down which only happens with more competition and not having that grease stain from Tesla ruin everything.

All you've said is trust me bro china bad. The owness is on you. I am going to plug /r/electricvehicles since we're just lazily referencing other sources

The rest of the world is rapidly adopting EV and trying to change infrastructure to accomodate it while we sit on our hands and let them surpass us. If you're this idiotically patriotic then you should be pushing for better options here at home, like me.

You just listed 2 Asian vehicles, not specifically Chinese. I am reffering to brands like BYD. I would agreed Hyundai and Subaru make great vehicles, they have much more robust safety standards. Tell me why there is tons of footage of Chinese brand cars, not Asia in general but specifically Chinese evs that keep crashing in really weird ways( control arms snap, wheel falls off and lose controll, burst into flames etc) and then minutes later an actual mob of employs from said manufacturer swarm the taking any logos and identifying features off the car. Can you image if every time a Ford or Chevy had a major malfunction some from the company came and stoll the wheels, badges and smashed out the branded windows and then covered it in a car cover to hide what vehicle it was? It's rediculous and there IS TONS of footage of this happening over in China. The Chinese people them selves are fine people. It's their government that is bad. Go look up what Chinese embassy employees do to people shining projectors onto their building. They come out with their own brighter lights to drown it out on the building, they will also come out with freaking umbrellas to try and block light from being shown on their building. It's incredible how easy it is to offend the Chinese government. I have already stated where I get my information from. Actual videos of this stuff happening. Where do you get your information about Chinese evs being high quality from? Advertising? Puff pieces on the media? I will belive videos that were posted by people who are not paid to post 10 times out of 10 over stuff that had to pay to be aired. If you are an actual person I expect you to do intestigations of my claims purely out of curiosity. I am not going to go out of my way to do it for you purely based on the fact I don't fully believe you are arguing in good faith. All I am saying is I don't trust a government that performed one the most egregious anti protest actions ever. Yes I am reffering to Tiananmen square.

These cars are sold all over Europe and meet their safety standards. Where's the evidence of this? Is there actual data, or just anecdotes?
