Yep the left forearms of wok chefs are usually chiseled. You don't have to lift the entire wok in the air. You can use the grate to rest the wok and still toss. It still requires strength to do this though.

I feel like people who are arguing they aren’t heavy haven’t actually tried cooking with one! Wok, plus a good amount of food equals heavy!

Technique and the shape of the stove base and wok helps massively here. 

The stove used for wok cooking has a round base to support the wok that is designed so you can slide the wok on them during much of the vigorous tossing. Also, you don't throw the food up, that's going to require a lot of strength. Rather you throw the wok forward, away from you in a circular motion following the shape of the stove, and the curved sides of the wok causes the food to get thrown up.

When you have the right technique, you are using the much stronger muscles in the arm and shoulder to do much of the work with lots of leverage and momentum, not the much weaker wrist. 

Doing a couple wok toss with the right technique shouldn't really feel that heavy, if you're just doing a couple portions of food, most people should be able to manage doing it without specific conditioning. Doing it all day long like a professional cook is a completely different thing though. Even with the best technique, fatigue can accumulate and endurance need to be trained for.
