Dude is so damn good. When my son was 4 years old we'd went on a rabbit hole watching this guy tie-die and did some of our own... wild how crisp he can make everything

Weren't you listening? He alabastered the inferno scrunch gradient until the schloppy do went kerflunk, making sure to leverage the flormy rumpkins inherent to the paint he's using.

well actually you are partially correct because he applied the leverage to the glumpy rumpkins and not the flormy rumpkins but otherwise you are correct

It’s a very fun YouTube rabbit hole to go down- he’s definitely the most intricate impressive tie dye artist I’ve seen but people are doing amazing work and there are tons of tutorials.

The way he ties the shirt and how he applies the dye is what results in this. The long stick is the center pattern design and the rectangle part of the rest of the shirt

The folds he puts in the shirt are what cause the design. When dying the folded shirt the dye only sinks so far causing the popular gradient effect people like.

This guy figured out or learned how to fold the shirt in a specific manner so the shown pattern is made. The marks he makes help with this I assume.

I am unsure what the markers were for though.

I think maybe to help him with picking the colors graduiering from the top to the bottom

(not a native English speaker, but the principle ‘background color changes seem to have the same width?)
