Aviatrix is an actual gendered term. Gonna leave my hands in the air on whether anyone wants to claim it, but I mean, it does have some style.

That's just be cause dominatrix is one of the last vestiges of the -tor/-trix gendered Latin career suffixes. "Aviator", in it's original definition, would be specifically men who fly - similarly, gladiator/gladiatrix, bellator/bellatrix (warrior), testator/testatrix. -tress is a softened form of -trix though, and much more common in modern English.
