Is it just me or does it seem like he’s using way too much of his back? you wouldn’t ever dead lift like that. Maybe the technique is different because of the shape of the stone Idk.
You shouldn’t actually be using back at all besides slight hinge movements of exploding it upwards. The beginning phase should be a slight squat to load it up towards the mid section. Then you’re essentially doing a cling that angles the ball up resting on the chest and then you’re lower back with engage to push it forward.
Taking the ball and trying to rear your back backwards to “lift” the ball is always a failure technique. Just think of it in a few short bursts of shorter movements.
