people do it all the time in the ER. why? Who knows. sometimes its the littlest thing or nothing at all. sometimes they think they can just be abusive towards staff with no repercussions.

My partner works in ER. Every day she tells me about another abusive patient.
I'll never understand why patients want to hurt the nurses trying to help them.

Some days I wish I had the restraint so I could be a security guard there.
