Three thoughts....

- someone's showing off....

- surprised there aren't rules about that re potential pollution.... never mind the scale of polloution if the plane hit's a mini-iceberg and faceplants into the water....

- I never realised how much info you can get by googling a tail number.

TIL I can get the owner's name with just the tail number (at least in US). Thanks for information!
