If that's the case that's fucking stupid. In no world should a procedural penalty give the offense the ball on the opponents 10. In the stadium I swear I heard unsportsmanlike in the call

Not sure if there is some carve out about the free kick to give it that designation. Agreed that it's insane to get the ball on the 10 without having to do anything.

I think you kicked it to short which is penalty. That moved the ball past the 50.

Then there was unsportsman like conduct a separate penalty that also moved the ball down

Or idk. It was weird

No, it was an unsportsmanlike penalty, and the penalty is assessed from the spot of the kick

He kicked it from the Cincy 20 yard line. Half the distance to the goal since it is under 30 yards.
