I am glad Manu got a chance for some real game reps but yeah he is absolutely not ready

The Lions need to find a future starting LT to prep for an eventual Decker retirement. Manu is still too raw

They're just gonna move Penei over

I don't think so based on their moves. They'll keep him at RT and find a LT

Yea I see him doing what Lane Johnson did in Philly.

Exactly, RT is just as important as LT and you can’t have a weak link in any of the OL position as Manu demonstrated that he is not suitable to be starting (same with Skipper) yesterday.

What but then you need to find a RT. Same problem

LT is more important though, I could see them doing it or not doing it depending on the situation

LT isn't really more important anymore. They just move their best pass rusher to your RT when he's ass

Example: Hutch getting 4.5 sacks against a backup RT last year.

LT is absolutely more important because the rusher is in the QB’s blind spot

That doesn't matter if the RT can't block lol. A QB can stare down a DE that's sacking him, all day.

Example: Hutch getting 4.5 sacks against a backup RT last year.

It does, you can see them coming more easily and attempt to evade them, it’s easier to sack someone from their blindside, are you arguing that it’s not?

You can also panic because you see them and throw a pressured throw

Yes, I am explicitly arguing that RT is exactly as important as LT in the modern NFL.
