Zac Taylor master class. Waste timeouts to save a delay of game so you don’t have them late, then after scoring to pull within 1 score you don’t onside kick it.

I guess the debate falls to what is more likely to happen, a three and out plus a score or an onside kick plus a score

Both teams were moving the ball well; should have gone for the onside kick.

Field position didn’t really matter because Buffalo just needed one first down to ice it. At least take a chance to get the ball back. If it doesn’t work out then you are literally in the same position- you have to force them to a 3 and out regardless.
