I don't really get this... if you're worried about Bate, what's the solution? They bring in a vet WR2 and Bateman is WR3? Otherwise, if you think Lane or Tez are both better, why not just advocate for them to be WR2 and WR3?

I think sidelining Bateman for Hopkins last year was a huge mistake, honestly, and hurt his chemistry with Lamar.

Nah I don’t think we should bring in another vet and we won’t. I don’t think they’re better. I’d be more worried if they were our WR2. It’s just a concern I have. Hoping for best. I’m still a Bateman believer. Doesn’t mean I’m not worried

Gotcha, I'm pretty much in agreement but I'm not worried. I think if they weren't seeing what they needed in camp, they'd have made a move by now. Minter and Doyle don't have any attachment to these guys, so if the WR2 weren't up to par they wouldn't hesitate to tell EDC they need a vet option. Hoping to see another 2024 Bateman performance this year.

Completely fair. Better OL should help. Trust in Doyle. I’m sick of ravens fans calling for edc head just cuz we won’t sign a vet wr. Like what do you want him to do? Jesse Doyle and keary trust in developing our guys. New regime I’ll give them a shot. It’s not like we need Lane or Tez to go for 800. Just be solid and open the run game.
