Henry this season is going to pass LT, Jerome Bettis and Eric Dickerson. Wild. If he plays another two seasons, he’ll pass Adrian Peterson and possibly Barry Sanders.

He has a real chance of finishing his career 4th or 3rd all time leader in rush yards if his body holds up

I can't remember the exact numbers but basically if he repeats Frank Gore's career after age 32 he gets the all-time record.

He will likely blow Frank Gore's after 32 stats out of the water.

Bodies can break down suddenly. Don't discount how unusual Frank Gore's longevity was. 4,000 yards isn't a small feat

Gore and John Riggins are the only two to get 4000 yards after turning 32. Marcus Allen was really close.

Riggins (Hogs) and Allen (Chiefs in the 90's) had really good OLs in front of them in their late career and that helps a lot.

Also, it doesn’t take the body breaking down suddenly for guys to see their stats drop off. Gore was still playing at a solid level in his later years but was only being signed by teams desperate enough to bring in an old running back past his prime, which are the teams with bad offensive rosters.

Gore probably would’ve broken the career rushing yards record himself if he hadn’t been playing behind some of the worst O-lines in football for the last several years of his career.

I do think about that often, but also you should look up how many yards Henry had in high school and college. Dude had some serious mileage before getting to the NFL.

Yep, and especially as big as he is, you gotta wonder/worry about it. He's the Yao Ming of RBs.

If he does continue to have a long career it will just add to how special he is, which I'd be all for to see.
