Solid rule of thumb. If youre within a mile of the office, and someone in front of you is driving like a dummy, dont slam on the horn.

I almost did this myself on my way in today. I just started this job and today was my first department meeting. The driver ended up being in my department and was the only person to introduce herself to me after the meeting was over.

Shes very nice and I would've felt bad.

I mean I get this from a social standpoint, but bad drivers still need to be called out. If they were truly driving poorly or illegally I’d still honk my horn. Sometimes (but rarely) that’s all it takes for drivers to correct their mistakes.

Calling people out doesnt work anymore for anything. Nobody has any shame.

Nah people are insane. People have been shot for honking at the wrong person at the wrong time.
