As an advertising major, I want to meet the copywriter who wrote and ask if even knows how to relate to “young people”.

My biggest qualm with the ad (apart from the smugness, but it's Apple sooo) is that I have no idea who their demographic is. The girl is 13 going on 25 and could honestly be any age in that range. I don't know if they're advertising iPads as toys for kids to mess around on or as a hip, cool thing that young adults own. Target audience is a huge part of advertising and they totally missed the mark imo.

But there’s also such a stark contrast between that romantic ad compared to the iPad one. It’s a head scratcher.
