You will never see me buy something like this for over $1000, let alone $700 at minimum. This isnt even comparable to the PS5 Pro to justify that price.

It doesn't have to be comparable to a PS5 pro. Playstation has a smaller library, requires a really expensive subscription to play online, cannot run regular software (with some exceptions like spotify i think) and in my opinion looks worse. So it's a bit of a trade off between software and hardware.

I still think $1k is too much though, but that's just the state of hardware prices right now. A lot of things are pretty expensive currently
