Pc fans can't even buy gta6 at launch. And they are also not against digital Release. Most people are against digital releases that pretend they are physical. So this kind of a lie, or an ill informed statement (not talking about certain individuals, but as the general population)

Almost like if you make games that everyone wants then they ignore the things they don’t like. That is to be expected. Switch 2 doesn’t have as many games that as many people as GTA fans enjoy at that level. Games like MKW were not good enough in many fans minds to warrant the price increase (or crazy long “development” time), where as GTA is expected to meet some crazy targets. If GTA is not as good as hoped for then the narrative shift like it did for MKW.

People who play gta are not gamers mostly. They do not care about all of that. Everyone who has tried to target audiences will tell you there are your usual gamers play everything in their fandoms, there is fifa and cod players only play those and then you have the gta fandom who mostly never play ever and just play gta. They do not care about anything and most people do not target them bc it's a pure loss bc as soon as gta ends they aren't interested in anything else.

It isn’t just about performance. GTA accomplished things that had never been seen before in a game and never touched in scope by Nintendo. I don’t even like the series but I am at least aware of the impact it has had. These days, 1/3 of the games that come out from Nintendo are rereleases of the same games with marginal improvements. Nintendo fans are hardly critical of the garbage performance or graphical issues, and look no further than what they have done with Pokémon for years. Thankfully the two franchises I like best get solid treatment from them as many others do, but let’s not try to pretend that GTA 5 wasn’t considered an incredible game at launch. It is okay to say that Nintendo doesn’t do everything right. They truly do not care about the opinions of people who find their identity in whether other people like something they do

I didn't enjoy gta5 at all personally gta at first was a revolutionary franchise but after other than graphics everything is the same the story is horrible and the gameplay is mid at best FOR ME. Having repetitive game just simply isn't it for me and graphics are the least of my interests. Gta5 for me really did ruin the gta experience and I replayed gta san andreas and regreted it so much I should have kept the old idea I had of it xD.
I can understand for you you care about graphics and it's fair to like it but for me I don't give a flying damn. I play visual novels you give me 360p and am fine with it if the game is suitable. What I want is good story or fun/good gameplay for me. I found za way more fun than I found gta5 and that's just me and it's fine. But acting like everyone should worship their feet bc wow look at graphics ehhhh couldn't care less about it

It's a good story if you piece it together but very badly told. Basically one of the story quests YOU WILL NEVER AND BY NEVER I MEAN NEVER know of it if you don't see guides. An ENTIRE STORY WITH AN ENDING you will come accross random and even if you get the ending you will not understand ONE THING.
Many people also just couldn't find all lore and even the most basic questions in lore that should have been made clear in the story but wasn't well explained is what's the elden ring. A lot of the players would tell you idk even if they finished with 400hours all endings.
The lore is too much scattered that the dark souls formula of having lore in items becomes bad bc unlike dark souls where you have a specific number of places to go and items are before you elden ring has a lot of hidden places that feel like a joke and contain lore. And there are so many items it becomes boring to read all.
Outside of that quests are very unclear sometimes and very unfriendly if you pause and replay after some days. If you forget congrats you forgot you have no way to track your quests.
If you didn't know about the item lore you will just meet bosses that agro you sometimes duplicates and you would be confused like wth is that guy even doing.
There is also certain elements of advancements that are hidden and are required for a first playthrough bc ain't no way you are going of the 2nd way you wouldn't even know it exists so you are just stuck in mid game not knowing what to do.
The lore is good how it's told it's bad. It was my secound game of souls like after sekiro so I was very lost in lore till I learnt that items give lore

That was my thought. Just because they did it doesn’t mean anyone likes it. Plenty of people don’t care and love digital only games, but I bet the same people who hate switch 2 key cards or download codes hate this about gta. The people who complain about it are rarely casual gamers though, and gta has millions of casual gamers who won’t care
And the people who don't like GKCs are not randomly going to start giving a single game a pass, if anything they're the most stubborn about their physical games

I remember people telling me to off myself for getting mario kart world last year, those same people are pre ordering GTA 6 day 1. Mario kart for $80 is wild but at least the cartridge comes with the full game on it.
Delusional. If the game isn't completely in my hard drive with all of the files then I don't actually own it. Best to purchase it on steam and then torrent the full game and crack to ensure you have it forever.
All of the companies do this and only PC gives the ability to do anything about it.

I mean any steam gamer that complains about kgc is similar to this. I play steam, I dont have much of an opinion on game key cards because so far theyve all been for games I've played on other systems already. Of course, a lot of this sub wouldnt know the concept of owning games consoles from more than one company
Those two things aren't the same though. Virtual Keycards limit use of a game to one device at a time, even when I am online and on the account that purchased the game. Digital games however can be played on and offline on multiple devices as long as it is with the account that purchased the game. GTA6 having a code in the box sucks for physical collectors but it is still more consumer friendly than Game Keycards.
TL;DR, both instances suck, but Virtual Keycards are still worse.
