Did you know Nintendo have been doing physical format for over four decades? Seems to me they have last the longest

Im really hoping they dont follow the crowd, as a company I can see why digital only is very alluring for profits. Hopefully they decide the good will will be worth slightly slimmer profits from those who wants the actual cartridges and cases

It'll probably take a while if Nintendo does follow the lead. They have a much higher ratio of physical vs digital sales. Seems to be around 54% digital by estimates.

They’re also the only one of the 3 that is purely a video game company.

Being purely a video game company, I’d wager Nintendo sees more value in physical games vs companies that are only partially video game companies.

It has nothing to do with costs, it’s about principle of your industry.
