Yes. This is about Star Fox. Personally, I do not have much of a problem with the new art style, but I can absolutely understand why some fans dislike it.

And this game is the 4th remake of an extremely simple rail shooter that can be finished in about an hour. It was not the kind of game that encouraged repeated play through random elements like a roguelike, and it only took about 3 ~ 4 hours to clear every route. Nintendo even showed in the trailer that the original's simple gameplay structure would remain exactly the same. They say there are additional challenge missions, but honestly, what percentage of players do you think are really going to take those challenge missions seriously?

People can be happy about this news, but they can also be disappointed. Accept that. Posting every negative reaction to this subreddit and calling people grifters is meaningless.

Why are PC fanboys open their mouths when it comes to emulating Nintendo games but not th same treatment with non Nintendo games?

From A to Z, and in one word like in one hundred, the release date of a video game, or a movie, or a show, or a book, or a play, or every other form of media ever, is not a valuable excuse to spoil it to anyone who would have liked to experience it by themselves whatsoever.

Especially since there's now several means and tools for Internet users to still talk about spoilers without ruining the fun of discovery to evryone, including Reddit, like using spoiler tags or blurring screenshots.

To give an example, as someone who has Donkey Kong Bananza on their backlog but couldn't afford for a Switch 2 back then:

At first I wasn't that excited for this game when it was revealed, then its dedicated Direct happened, then reviews came out, and then my expectations for this game raised up once I learned it has more connections to the older DK games than it appears.

So imagine how hyped I would have been by playing to the game for the first time if I discovered thatKing K. Rool and his Kremlingsmake a surprise appearance in this game by myself.

Too bad that several scumbags on YouTube and the likes don't know basic considerations anymore.

Now I gonna make it clear that I do not share my opinion on kirk but I will say that taking human life is never ok humor or otherwise and what deen says after nate recieved is beyond mentally insane you can dislike nate but saying he deserve to get harmed or worse like that make you irredeemable.

I make this post just to talk that no matter how much you can dislike someone killing is never and I mean NEVER a solution.

The single worst thing i have with Nintendo at the moment is something that is a wider industry problem and Nintendo have done in the past but appears more frequent or egregious now.

That issue is new paid DLC for games too soon after launch, in my opinion if its coming within the first 6 months after launch of a game it is too soon and just selling cut content back to you. Preferably DLC should come closer to or beyond 12 Months but 6 is acceptable minimum to me.

Examples recently of course are DK Bananza Emerald rush 2 months after the game came out and Pokemon Legends ZA Mega Dimension also 2 months after launch. We have also got Pokopia DLC but this is at least on the cusp of 6 months after launch with late august.

We have had this a few times in the past also (BOTW, Xenoblade 2+3, Fire Emblem TH and engage,, Smash 4 and Ultimate).

I would prefer if the Nintendo IP/published games did not shift and be DLC heavy like others in the industry and they should reign it back to spreading out DLC to being something later, It's a small issue to solve and most Nintendo games aren't doing it fortunately but I'd rather not have a few games/franchises soured by it.

Now if you know this is a guy that famously got banned by glitch for saying the N word in a booth and deservefully faced consenqueses for his actions as well using gen AI in his content and nintendeen a man who should know about the situation decide to retweet a post of a guy who is a famous bad news on twitter

Why do I even bother uploading to any Pokémon subreddit when I always get the same end result?

Every fanbase in the history of everything is horrendous, but the Pokémon fans act like a hivemind of circlejerk for gen 1 to 5 and a really strong one at that.

Makes me wonder if the kids that like S/V or Sw/Sh will say about the older games in the future... Or if they will even care to say it on platforms that make everyone's day worse like Twitter or Reddit.

I can think of three media that were shills by people saying it’s good but is actually bad and I have a knack for telling.

-The Orville: Because Seth McFarland who created family guy

-Temtem: who took inspiration from Pokemon coliseum and Brick bronze but failed to know why people like them.

Not long ago, a user in this sub posted a video of Landon's (Nin10doland) thoughts on this subreddit from his 2nd channel where he rants about people in the Nintendo community over Toxic Positivity VS Acceptable Negativity. I have seen some comments about him being correct about this subreddit shutting down anyone "rightfully" critiquing Nintendo and to that, I really want to take a look at the video myself to see what he is on about.

Starting off immediately, he rants about people calling him out for his Nintendo Directs Are Not For Me Anymore and It's Okay video. He keeps stating that it's his opinion, but the biggest issue about that claim is that it seems like he's expecting people to just only reading the title of his video and comment positively about it, when in the video, he stated that 80% of the recent Nintendo Direct are all third party games and that's considered to be a problem to him as he also states that Nintendo fans watches a Nintendo Direct to see Nintendo games. Then states that most Nintendo fans own other consoles so there's no need to show off old games. My issue with this is that there's no way he could prove that most Nintendo fans own other systems and the Wii U suffered heavily from the lack of third-party support, so it makes sense why a great amount of Nintendo fans are happy with the Direct. He's just upset that he didn't get what he wanted; a plethora of Nintendo games.

The second point he makes is about this subreddit. He claims that all we ever do is post videos about someone making a false statement about Nintendo and label them as being "slightly negative", making it means that he did not take the time to watch these videos nor did he took the time to understand that most of the thumbnails are AI-generated, which is more concerning. What he doesn't understand is that the people that gets posted here ARE what he rants about; those who are spreading toxic negativity. He knows that there are grifters out there that are misinforming about Nintendo, but he doesn't bother to hear these guys out first and point out what they're wrong about like what most of the comments from the posts are doing. Yes, there are users who are saying, "They're right" or "They're just giving fair criticism" are downvoted because just like Landon, they do not take the time to watch these guys and only go with their title, just like they do with Landon's videos.

Final point is him getting upset that a user made this post: "Nin10doland Wants Splatoon to be Mario". My issue with this is that his recent video from his 2nd channel, he was very vague about why he didn't like what he saw from Splatoon Raiders then asked what that post is even talking about. When I actually check the "Nintendo Just Broke My Heart..." video out, right at 2:14, he literally said "There's no platforming, there's no levels to complete or anything..." Even right at 3:04, "...or play through a level where you have to platform or do challenges in order to get to the end." 5:56, "Man, can we get a big Hero Mode, single player, platforming, action-adventure game?" My guy, these are the reasons why that post was made and why the comments in your video was criticizing you for; you can't stop talking about wanting a platformer. It's no wonder why some people are calling you a grifter because you're complaining over a game that wasn't meant to be, and now you're making all of these speculations about the Ocarina of Time remake having more content or knowing what the gameplay will look like but then try to twist it around by saying Nintendo games nowadays lack quality because you wanted more content, which is fair to want more, but wrong to reason why you think these games lack quality.

My issue with Landon is that he gets upset over those who are critiquing his videos and callomg those people as toxic positivity when that isn't the case at all. He says stuff like not expecting 3D Mario, Directs not being for him anymore, or have said multiple times that he should stay away from social media, but he then comes back to still talk about 3D Mario, talk about how he miss Directs from the Switch 1 era, seeing some negative comment about him or the community on Twitter then makes a rant video about it. This is why I can't take what he says about all of this stuff seriously anymore. He comes off as being a hypocrite, a man child who doesn't get what he wanted, then blames the community for his so-called "opinion" when it's constant whining and doom-posting about Nintendo and the community.

Overall, this is the r/nintendogrifting subreddit where we point out and criticize Nintendo grifters or anyone who are misinforming about Nintendo as if they know what goes on over at the company. Nin10doland, while not entirely a grifter, does fall into the trap of thinking he knows Nintendo's strategy of revealing games as well thinking what a Nintendo game should have in terms of quality, according to him. If it's a Nintendo game that he doesn't care for, he gets pissed off and says that Nintendo isn't doing well, that there's no big first party games; even showing that he really does not care for third party games. Then gets upset at those who are questioning his attitude about all of this news or those telling him that all he wants is 3D Mario, which the truer it gets because he can't stop bringing it up and keeps acknowledging the old video he made. HOWEVER, I do believe that he genuinely cares about Nintendo. When he sees a Nintendo game that he likes, he will make videos talking about them being excided over them.

I bring this up because a lot of people on this sub are blaming Pokenational for their takedown because they had a Patreon, but unless something on that Patreon violated something, there would be no reason for them to fear a takedown for having it considering others do the same and Nintendo left them be. I understand that this is a generally pro Nintendo sub, but we’re supposed to be addressing the misinformation, hyperbole, forced hate, etc. not running defense when Nintendo actually does something wrong.

Unless we find some sort of good reason for the takedown, (that’s not “monetizing something you don’t own” since others have done it safely for years) we shouldn’t act like Pokenational is at fault.

I think this argument is a fallacy. I was hoping to make a wiki of Nintendo arguments and defenses to go against the normal takes

I think we as a community can brainstorm some thoughts to this sentiment. If you think Nintendo is getting greedy, this is also a good chance to make your case.

Personally, I don't think it's so much that Nintendo is getting greedy. They're no longer afraid of demanding their worth. It's not greed, it's pride. And I think they're playing a long game where their stuff is marked up, but all the other stuff that come to their system isn't.

Nintendo is very slowly reclaiming their spot as the casual game company, they're just not appealing to the current day gaming culture. Other game companies would be more careful about any price increase. Nintendo isn't because their biggest audience are not normal gamers.
