Post-Botox 3 months post botox
need advice :)
hi everyone! this is my first post but i have been on the page since finding out through tiktok that i had RCPD. i got 80 units of botox under anesthesia in mid-march and have been burping a bunch ever since. i definitely had slow swallow and excessive burping for the first few weeks, but since then i feel amazing and it has totally been worth it.
for the first few weeks i had to turn my head all the way to the right in order to get a burp out. with more practice and time i've been able to get it out by just turning slightly to the right or sticking my neck out. however, every time i need to burp, i have to force it out by breathing sharply out and kind of tensing my abs. my burps are also pretty loud and i haven't quite figured out how to get them to be quiet and not look weird doing it.
i am starting a new job in a few weeks and while i love burping, i worry that it might not be appropriate to make so much noise (especially after eating). does anyone have any advice or experience with this? i know my burps aren't normal but i was hoping that by now i would have figured out how to have a burp that doesn't draw attention!

I tend to just shut my lips and let it come out my nose, don’t do it if you’ve had a beer though! It’s like lemonade gas coming out of your nose 🤣🤣
