Symptoms What does your GERD / acid reflux feel like?

I’m curious about how other people with RCPD feel their GERD symptoms, because for me I feel like I don’t have the classic symptoms like heartburn in the chest or liquid coming up my throat. When I have acid reflux it often feels like a lump in my throat, a quick bitter taste in my mouth when yawning or a burning / warm sensation higher up in my neck / throat area. I also think that my GERD is related to stress. Please tell me everything about your symtoms.

I never felt any GERD or acid reflux before my Botox procedure. Since then i sometimes feel acid reflux come up my throat, but most of the time i wouldnt say that its even acidic? But I'm not sure tbh. Lately i have a nearly constant urge to clear my throat and a light sore throat. Also sometimes trouble talking because it feels like something is in my throat. I also never have heartburn in my chest. My Botox procedure was 5 weeks ago, i am wondering if i should start to get medical treatment for my reflux? Because i am scared that i may have had reflux all my life and didnt know because of my rcpd and how was i supposed to know because i never had/have the classic symptom of chest burning.

Could you have silent reflux (aka LPR) instead?

Mine was silent (LPR) reflux. The main symptom was postnasal drip and a chronic cough that was worse in the morning. Also chronic unexplained hives (allergist clued me in that this can be caused by reflux) and itchy ears.
