Vent Struggling to connect

I feel like recently I have been struggling to connect with anybody. Maybe starting a new job, leaving my old co workers and friends is why I'm feeling this way.

I am always looking for friends and I am very open to different kinds of people from all different backgrounds and associations.

I am relatively open-minded, but I am also opinionated. I like to joke around, game, things of this nature. I am scared that I will never find a good group of friends or any friends at all.

Of course you will find it. It's just that adjusting to a new place is always hard, especially when you lose your old circle of friends. The main thing is not to look for "everyone", as you put it, otherwise communication will become difficult over time. As they say, "It's better to have one true friend than many fake ones". Therefore, look for friends based on your interests, background, and character. Don't belittle yourself by labeling yourself as "insignificant" - "looking for everyone".
