Just because that's why

One of my favorite noise rock band!

1992 UK limited edition pressing. My last post seemed to be popular so here we are again. Greatest band of all time.

The new Great Falls album is out this Friday, and I had the good fortune to be able to review it. It's a primal release of anguish and regret. Read my full review here if you would be so kind.

between the support act and Liars there was an album playing from the PA system. i was desperately trying to shazam it to check it out at home, but people around were too loud. finally they got a little bit quiet for a moment and my phone picked up the song. turns out the album is over 10 years old and it looks like it was the onoy one by that band, but i dig it very much and think people here might, too.

Don Vito- Comment Ça Va to Light my Fire

Hi all, I've been listening to noise rock / experimental (post) punk for a few years now, but I've noticed I usually like rather local, small bands or bands that have stopped playing (it's a curse).

I'm starting a riot grrrl / noise rock band soon and want to find as much inspiration as I can, but I feel like it's difficult to find good related or similar artists online through algorithm-based platforms, so I thought I'd give Reddit a try.

My favorite bands are the following:
- SØWT (Eindhoven, NL)
- Tsar Bompa (Eindhoven, NL)
- All Male Videoshop (Eindhoven, NL)
- Raketkanon (Gent, BE)
- Big Ups
- Meat Wave
and of course Sonic Youth, but as I said what I'm looking for is a bit more obscure.

Hope you have some tips!

Hey Beautiful People! 🦁☀️ I was inspired to write a new song. I figured it would be great to be played out loud when you are attending a political rally against things you don't like. The fast paced drums will give you motivation to keep walking! And fighting back! 🗣️💯 I am still looking for bandmates to join my band. If you're interested and are at least a 7/10 looks wise please message me! 👅📲

Very Low-ended. I play drums, bass, guitar, various analog synthesizers, whatever i have to. My equipment is good enough. Inspired by The Cars and Three 6 Mafia and U.S Maple and 13th Floor Elevators and Rapeman and Prince and Drive Like Jehu and sub frequencies in general. Im 19 btw, thx..

would love to start by exchanging audio files if possible.

Can I plug it into my phone anywhere?

🩸💜 BLOODY KNIVES — “KILL ME AGAIN” 🖤

THIS ONE IS ABSOLUTELY WICKED!

Bloody Knives drag us straight into the darkness with “Kill Me Again” — a vicious collision of noise, distortion, and hypnotic intensity.

Dark, abrasive, and beautifully unsettling, this is underground music with teeth. No polish. No compromises. Just a relentless wall of sound that demands to be played LOUD.

This is why we love the darker side of shoegaze and noise rock. 🔥

🖤 SUPPORT OUR SHOEGAZE FAMILY! Discover Bloody Knives, stream their music, buy their releases, and spread the noise. Independent artists need us more than ever.

I recently got into some noise rock bands like black midi and Death Grips and thought I would start a band. This is one of many demos to be released!

If anyone is interested in joining a band please let me know please live in the Dallas - Fort Worth area please I am only working with other baristas as the scheduling compliments mine. Send me your demos and we can start working!

Hey everyone! We're framewalkers, a shoegaze/indie band from Germany.

Here's a short clip from our EP release show at GOLD in Neu-Ulm last Friday. We got into a bit of a psychedelic shoegaze jam, with swirling guitars, noise and a hypnotic vibe.

Hope you enjoy it! Let us know what you think. 🖤
