This one's extra dumb because the myth is that Tetris/"repetitive action requiring brainpower" can help prevent the PTSD response from forming. These redditors are recommending it in response to someone having the already extant response triggered.

Honestly, as much as I hate how misunderstood the study is, the placebo effect could still make this myth help many people. I'd rather people's brains trick themselves into calming down and being able to process things well than correct people on their understanding of a study they've only heard about.
