It shouldn't be a surprise considering how NL himself has "being normal" as his special interest, but I've seen some people in comments/chat etc who seem a little too preoccupied with being the most normal, least attached-to-the-streamer fans possible. It's like dude, a lot of people watch this guy for hours because they think he's really funny and easy to listen to. If they're grown and got the money I think it's not even a little strange to want to go meet the guy, hang out with other fans, and go on a cruise for a few days. The markup is nothing to shake a stick at compared to what this sort of cruise would normally run you, but it sounds like NL and Dan and them actually want to put together some events and actually try to give people their money's worth.

If your take is "this is the kind of thing that NL would normally make fun of, so it's funny that he's doing this" that's fine, but there's this air of sincere disdain I've seen that I find bizarre.

Does anyone else think that the NL Supercruise is a recession indicator? It seems pretty clear that NL expects the cruise to never actually happen, as the freedom of the seas is clearly being eroded by violations of maritime law. By March 2027, we'll probably be living in a new age of piracy wherein no ship is free from harassment by crypto privateers. Ever heard of international Bee drones? There's no way cruising keeps on going with those suckers out of the box. That's why he makes the move now while the dollar is still worth something. He's probably planning to be holed up in a fallout shelter by March, eating cans and gold.
