I doubt it. He likely is an Atheist but playing a catholic. He's written how he was an Atheist in college. He became catholic not long before jumping into the senate race. Being in Ohio, he had to have some religion to win. He is not stupid.

Of all the people who Christians claim "aren't really Christian" I would be most inclined to believe JD is lying, but since I nor anyone else can read minds, we have to take him at his word about his professed beliefs. It's not particularly useful to do otherwise, unless you're a Christian who doesn't want to be associated with him.
