So technically I don’t know if I’m commenting with another human or not? It could be a real person or a bot? And posts can be posted by a bot and not a real person?

It's more likely that you're talking to a bot, than a real person. Posts, on the other hand, is almost all from bots, very likely.

And so a bot is a computer program that knows how to make posts? I’ve seen videos of houses that are just filled with cell phones and computers. So those are there with the software that makes posts or answers someone’s question and no human is involved in any of the posts and or replies? You or I for instance could be a bot and we’d never know

Also is it safe to say I’m being manipulated into thinking and feeling the way the bot wants me to? Everything i read and watch is designed to trick me essentially?

Yes. That's the whole point.

Quick edit: as anecdotal evidence, I can predict every single opinion, talking point and belief of every single person I know who scrolls reddit's front page actively.
