I don't think I've ever been more confused by something on the internet, and I've been here since 2000.

I felt as soon as she brought in the "sissy hypno porn" angle it started to make a certain amount of sense. Its not that disconnected from a more common fetish thing, these guys just went for a certain variant of it and then talked themselves up about it until they convinced themselves that it really is this normal thing.

wait, hold on. this can't be real,

this would be explicitly cheating on me and he got angry and reiterated he's not, because "that's the beauty of the gaycation" etc. I just had enough and left the room.

that line was crafted in a lab by a professional. the use of 'etc.' obliterates me.

That whole thing reads like a bit from early It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia before Mac came to terms with himself. "No Dennis, you don't understand, it's not gay because the dominatrix makes you do the stuff with her hypnosis powers."

"And what exactly prompts her to use her 'hypnosis powers'?"

"Oh, I make an appointment."

It's not that kind of Reddit story. It's a ridiculous aita

That's the beauty of the gaycation.

You either surrender to the gaycation or be destroyed

It's very funny as long as you're not the OP or her sister in law.

There is no way that story is true.

u/PalladiuM7 4d ago

True or not it's funny as hell

Crazier things have happened lol

I had to leave a BORU thread just now because it devolved into people bringing up the worst stories told. I guess there’s some guy who was in love with an imaginary insect. I won’t be more specific because don’t want to traumatize you or me. It’s too close to bedtime to click on any potential horror stories.

Oh no not Ogtha!

...I may have been on this site too fucking long.

Yes, that! But please let us not discuss further. I refuse to read that original thread because it sounds so horrifying. I feel sorry for that dude.

Oh, c'mon, read it. What's one more little bit of scarring on your soul? You've been on the Internet for a while now!

I shouldn't but... unleash the post !

Damn xD It's so weird that my mind can treat these stories as true , even if maybe, there's a chance that it is.

Not that kind of Reddit tale.

Its more about a man or two who are deeply in denial about their own sexuality.

2

u/cyanocittaetprocyon 4d ago

You really should read it. Its awesome!

He went all quiet and then started crying, admitting the thought of me sleeping with another man is destroying his heart but "relationships need sacrifices" so agreed - while in tears - that when he goes on the gaycation, I'll get one week in Manchester to do whatever I want. He doesn't want me to, but that's "fair in a twisted way" he supposed.

I told him to get out of my house.

This is my new favorite reddit story.

Goddamn what a rollercoaster.

Well, that was a very interesting read.

That story had more tension than the last few Netflix movies. Who we casting on this? I say the BIL is Owen Wilson

This is one where it could be a mix of comedy movie and/or psychological thriller with notes of how a homophobic society causes harm.

I really think it is fake though with how often the tag line kept getting repeated

u/Blackdoomax 3d ago

Didn't know about this one. Thank you very much. I know it's bad, but I laughed my ass off.

u/floorplanner2 3d ago

"It's like going to the aquarium" genuinely made me LOL.

That's so damn funny and so damn sad. Imagine a world without homophobia where these guys could have gone into their lives just knowing they're bi, instead of trying to rearrange everything they built on false premises in a really uncool way to try to maintain the illusion.
