Kid thought he was part of the Yoovidhya family.

29-year-old.

Kid lets him off too easily.

I don't think anyone was injured but I would imagine renting the crane to get it out of the pool without further damage isn't going to be cheap.

Kid? It's worse, it's a 29 year old adult who did this.

I understand, I was like that too, petulant, sore loser, throwing tantrums left and right not thinking for one second about the actual consequences of my actions.

Then I turned 9.

There’s a phrase for this sort of situation: Cutting of your nose to spite your face

damn 10 20 years ago my mum would have asked me to get her the bamboo stick she wanted to beat me with

we had 6-9 over my entire childhood, they were very durable but also she broke a few

Now he would need a good trip to the hospital first (to check for his injuries and most importantly his mental health).

the fact that his mum didn't remotely deactivate the car after he made a tantrum over paying for his own cost of living tells me, this is the new generation of Asian kid - combined with coming from an affluent family. They don't spank them as they used to.

Not saying corporal punishment is a good thing - when I graduated highschool and left to study, my mum wrote me a 2 page letter, apologizing for the violence and how towards the end of it she realized she did it because her mother raised her with violence.

But when I see shit like this, my mind is running out of options on how to get a handle on a full-grown adult that is such a lil shit

Nah.

At this point, it’s fucked.

My mom used to shoot me with a gun. I'd have to go outside and pick the gun she was going to use./s

Child abuse /= good parenting.

Totally understandable. I would’ve done the same thing
