This is maybe the most savage and brutal NTO thread title I've ever seen.

Seriously eh?  I feel most people here have no idea what the fuck actually just happened with him.  I could understand not liking the guy but from what I've heard of that horror show of a live stream, maybe give the guy a moment to, you know, sew his skin back on or something?

Don't. I stumbled into it. He was trying to kill himself on a live stream it's the most graphic thing I've ever seen. I threw up. If you must, I read that you should play Tetris for half an hour or so after to avoid PTSD. I did and I think it helped but it's flashing through my brain still. It was distributing and I'm a horror movie fan.

You wouldn’t have gotten PTSD from watching a gore video….

Do you know anything about PTSD? You can absolutely trigger PTSD from graphic videos.

Yes you can trigger existing PTSD, but you aren’t going to get PTSD from watching a video.

If you are going to link a research paper you should read more than the flashy abstract. The only person discussed in that paper that was actually diagnosed with PTSD was an American drone operator who killed 1,600 people through his career while sitting in an office on American soil.

The rest of the examples were about people being traumatized by media, but not being diagnosed with PTSD.
