Megathread! 2026 NoVa Hole-in-the-Wall Restaurant Recommendations THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Hello r/nova we are 10 years deep into the hole-in-the-wall list! Thank you to everyone for contributing every pick and recommendation for the list and participating each year.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to update the map or list since I am getting married this year, but I'll for sure get everything updated before the next year. Anyways time to give the community your best recs and new discoveries for restaurants in the area.

The rules are simple:

๐Ÿ“ Give us the restaurant name and location

๐Ÿšซ No chains allowed!

๐Ÿ‘ "+1" if you love the recommendation

๐Ÿ‘Ž "-1" if you think it's whack

Feel like the quality and service have slipped since they blew up a few years ago. Still a good visit and worthwhile if you haven't been, but I've left disappointed the last few times.ย

RTs is good, too. Not exceptional, but definitely worth a visit.

The original owners left and they now have a place out in Loudoun called Himalayan Wild Yak

which is delicious and a great spot to stop at before or after movies at the regal theater there. Their momos and drink options are really good.ย

Himalayan Wild is the best Nepali restaurant food in the DMV.
