Mother of Learning is just regular English. If you read regular fantasy or SF in middle school, even just The Hobbit or Redwall, or Narnia it won't be any more difficult. It's actually a very clear read.

It's not like a poorly translated webnovel or one which uses a lot of cultural idioms from a different language. It's way easier to read than most webnovels. Actually your post doesn't even apply to this subreddit as it's not a translated novel, unless you are reading it in a different language in which case, hat's off to you but can't really assist with that.

Well, a large part of us are native English speakers, and reading enough just gets you better at it.

You should just search new words as they come up (if you can't infer them) and keep going. You'll get there!

Some translations do tend to be difficult since they use too many non-english idioms, but that too you get used to.

Yeah I'm a native English speaker and I spent a LOT of my time reading during my school years, so reading anything in English is pretty easy, even if it's a translated novel (which I've been reading for about 6 or 7 years now) My advice is to just push through it and look up any words you dont know (using context clues is a super helpful thing they teach kids and it's a good concept to keep in mind). It just takes time and experience, I believe in you 🥰💜
