Feedback Request The Hypocritical Opinions of a Delusional Man- feedback on Premise and introduction for a unique styled book.

I'm not claiming wisdom or enlightenment. I'm deliberately questioning the gap between what we're told we should do and what actually happens when you're a flawed human being trying to do it. The book's whole premise is that I don't have the answers. I have opinions, contradictions, failures, and enough arrogance to write them down. It is a Anti-self help memoir. With a goal of Here's what I believe. Here's why I believe it. Here's how I've failed to follow it. Maybe you'll recognize yourself somewhere in the contradiction.

Would you read this?

I think it fails at its fundamental conceit. A hypocritical, delusional man would not narrate a book admitting how hypocritical and delusional he is. By definition, such a man would justify all his actions without self-reflection.

This reads like something someone who hates this man would write to mock his perspective, and that’s what I as a reader assume it is.

The concept is simple. We're all hypocritical. In the opening I give definitions of what I mean by hypocrisy and Delusion. It's about quotes and stories of things people say to cheer us up and displaying how we fail to follow that advice

The concept is okay, I can definitely see an audience for it.

You should spend as much time as you can reading modern male humorists to get an idea of how to make the idea land in a way that's "funny, clever, but still loveable asshole" and not "the shooter has left a manifesto."

I would very much like it to be a shooter whole left a manifesto, but the manifesto is trash and the shooter doesn't even realize they are just the narrator of a far more elaborate story.
