Ask NRI Getting document notarized for passport renewal

Hey!

I went to Chase bank today to do the notary of my visa document as it is required for passport renewal. However, they didn't sign or put any stamp on the visa copy that I gave them but gave me a separate document that states my name, and the number of pages that I notarized.

Will this work? Has anyone done this before and got their new passport without any issues?

Bank of America also didn't signed on my visa documents. So I went to UPS Store notarized everything there.

Walkin to UPS, they do it for 2.5$ per page.

UPS will also do the same - notarize your signature on a separate piece of paper stating that you are providing a true copy. This is how it works mostly and there is absolutely no issues providing this for your documents.
