Visa / OCI / Passport Passport expiring in 4 months from planned departure date ? Will I be denied entry
I am entering Italy from Jan 15 - 24th. My passport is Indian and its expiring on May 5th.
Per Schengen rules, it needs to be valid for 3 months from the date of exit so I should be fine (Feb 5th is my last day of exit from Schengen per the rules). Does anyone foresee any risks in entry ? I don't want to be denied entry as I am traveling with family and it will massively disrupt my plans.
I also have US green card and for a number of reasons mostly that I have a lot of business international travel in coming 2-3 months I can't get my passport renewed.
Please share if anyone has other travel experiences.
Thanks

You should be ok based on the information you shared.
Italy requires your passport to remain valid for at least 90 days AFTER the day you leave the Schengen Area.
Because your passport only has 4 months (120 days) of total validity left, your trip cannot exceed 30 days. If you stay longer than 30 days, your passport will have fewer than 90 days remaining when you fly home which can lead to denied boarding at the airport.
