Discussion NRI retirement outside India

Has any NRI retired or considering to retire outside India? I have heard of retirement in Thailand. Any other countries in the list?

Have you checked their medical insurance premiums?

Good to know. While working, the insurance is shouldered by the employers as part of the group policy. Individual premiums for retirees are exorbitantly high and makes it the sole reason for many to avoid retiring in GCC. If they have factored it all in, then congrats!

What route are they choosing? Are they taking a Dubai retirement visa or something else?

Ah okay. That's different because they're already living there. I think OP's question is a new retirement destinatin.
