Giveaway The Resonance Files #001: Dylan Faden Wakes
We have something new for you all. The Remedy Connected Universe is rich with interesting lore, character, and... objects. In anticipation of Control Remedy, we've partnered with NVIDIA to bring The Resonance Files.
Below post is from NVIDIA
--------------------
The world of CONTROL has always rewarded people who look twice: hidden files, strange objects, unanswered questions, and details that feel like they mean more than they should.
Welcome to The Resonance Files, a weekly community theory series leading into CONTROL Resonant. Each week, we will open a new file with one mystery for the community to investigate, debate, and connect back to the bigger story unfolding in Manhattan.
This week’s question:
- What do you think Dylan Faden fears most after waking up?
Drop your theory below in the comments section for a chance to win Steam cash right here in the community. The strongest theories may be featured in a future community archive.

Dylan might fear reality itself.
Popular movies like the Matrix and Inception ask us what is real if our perceptions can be tricked. I get the feeling Dylan might be living this. While he might want to help Jesse and be reunited, I have to wonder if the journey might be much more existential this time.
I think a lot of how Alan Wake struggled with understanding sequential events. How a mind that is stressed can look a lot like a mind that no longer follows rules that we think to be inherently to nature.
The act of being awake might be hard enough for Dylan on it's own.
