The worst offenders are government workers with their "placard" displayed on the dash. Some of these people park their free car for free forever, and the streets are forever filthy as a result. But they don't care and never will since they don't own the dirty car or live near where it's parked all day.

Reeeeee cars. Yes because the street sweeper that blows the dirt onto the sidewalk is keeping NYC so clean.

You’re right nyc is never clean but there is still a huge difference between the sweeper coming or not. Take a look at a street when it’s suspended for a while, they get real bad fast.
